Trisha is paired again with Vikram after Saamy for a new movie Bheema by Sri Surya Movies Banner, produced by A.M. Rathnam, directed by Lingusamy, who has directed her for Ji. After taking over three months to decide the heroine, the makers finally selected her and she got a chance to act opposite the talented Vikram.
